Memorial Day parade in Jamestown. Taylor rode in our neighbor Jim Westing's Monte Carlo with a couple of Rev. Eriks girls, and threw candy and played beauty queen.
Mackenzie rode on the back of her friend's quad.

Lindsey and Allison Eriks; they decided getting candy was more important than being seen. By their smiles, they aren't regretting their decision.

Eyes and mouth wide open!

Cassidy Joy aka The Thinker.

All buckled in for the ride home.

Here's my girls! This is a hospital shot, the fighting over holding Cassidy hasn't started yet.

Here she is, the star of the show, little Cassidy Joy Kuiper at about 12 hours old. Not sure who she looks like, but starting to remind us all of Lindsey. Uh-oh. She came out kicking so she'll probably act like her too. Double uh-oh.

Three very proud big sisters. It's a first time for Taylor! Time to spoil somebody else, sorry Taylor.

It was a great spring day today; we spent the whole day outside working on the yard, got it mowed and rolled, the garden rototilled (thanks to my neighbor and his new Kubota), strawberry patch all cleaned out and more.

It's a Boy

Meet the newest addition to the Kuiper family: John Deere, born last week, replaces another boy who is now up for adoption. Stats: 1999 455 with 22hp three cylinder Yanmar diesel, 60" deck and a snowblower. Remember, real tractors don't have spark plugs.

Lindsey and her friend Ashley Engelsma singing a duet in chapel yesterday. They sang Psalter #97. This was a big step for Lindsey, she has never done well in programs in church or school, and this is something she volunteered for! She made us all proud by pulling it off without a hitch, no stomach aches or crying at all. Way to Go Lindsey!!!
